ABOUT US
The Michigan Association of Timbermen is a non-profit 501(c)6 trade association, representing the forest products industry of Michigan. Founded in 1972, MAT has provided effective representation of Michigan's forestry community, including those who grow, harvest and process forest products.
Board of Directors
The Michigan Association of Timbermen is governed by a 13-member board of directors, elected by voting members as defined in our organizational by-laws, which states that voting members must be directly involved in the harvest, manufacture, or hauling of wood material.

Board members are elected to a three year term, and can be re-elected or replaced at our annual Timbermen's Convention each spring.
